Ya Don't Say?
Thoughts...
After close to 3 years of no GERD symptoms (I had it all the time in FL) have had two attacks in one week. Eek!
On a semi-related note, have been up since 2 am from said GERD attack.
Trying new reading glasses. Ouch. But at least they are teal and cute.
Procrastinating at finishing work from Job #1 to type this post.
Snowy yesterday, sunny today. Go figure.
Pesach starts this weekend. So do NBA playoffs.
Figured out an honest and 100% truthful way to cancel my T-Mobile account.
I am pissed at myself cause I keep forgetting to remove my Burt's Bee's chapstick thingie before washing my jeans/khaki's. Ruined 4 pair of pants tonite, Not so good since I only have 6 pair (not including dress pants).
Hoping Oxyclean will take out the greasy spotty stains.
Work calls so I'll end here.
nnsd.
I've been having heart-burny problems since I started my new birth control. Not fun at all. Maybe, try eating milk products--like ice cream or chocolate milk--before bedtime. My Mama had an ulcer, and she used to eat stuff like that because it coats the stomach. Unless you're lactose intolerant. Before she died, she had a lot of problems and I used to make a ginger tea out of fresh ginger--just boil it with some water--drink straight or add a little sugar. Soda crackers may work, too. If it continues, you might want to get checked for an ulcer yourself.
As for the lip balm...try blotting the spot with a good dollop of regular (the blue kind) Dawn dish soap and about 1/2 cup of boiling water. Put a white cloth underneath the spot and pour the mixture on it slowly. Try it a few times if it doesn't work at first.
Another thing you can do is put a white cloth on top and put an iron over it (like you're doing a decal). It should melt and transfer to the cloth.
Hope that helps!
