That quiz was clearly written by an American. The few Dutch I have known were anything but open minded. Perhaps my experience was not the norm?

Tulips were actually a gift from the Ottomans to the Dutch...so Turkish in origin.
But the "Europeanness" of Turkey is disputed anyway...
